I depart somewhat later than normal from Las Vegas, so I skipped the planned long route through Death Valley. So I took the I-15.
some 150 miles before LA I wanted to take a detour but After I drove about 25 miles the choosen road I saw the road I saw the road was blocked and the fastest alternative was to go back to I-15.
So I ended up in a traffic jam and arrived a bit later than I hoped for. After check in I went to the hotel where the SST members. who are going to the concert tomorrow, gather and then we had a very nice Brazilian diner together. After that we went back to the hotel a.k.a SST Mission Control and some fun talking until early in the morning.
