SiriusCreations' trip to the USA: 18 August 2008.

Tacoma, WA

Today we have visit the filmlocations of Twin Peaks, of course with a visit to Twede's cafe for a cup of coffee with cherry pie.

With a slightly detour we drove over one of Seattle's floating bridges.

The river is too deep to have pilars, so they made a large ponton bridge.

Then we arrived at Snoqualmie and North Bend where the exteriors of Twin Peaks is filmed. It seemed we already passed some of the locations, which resulted we saw almost everything twice.

For those who saw the series and movie maybe you will recognise it.
Here is the bridge, what in the serie was used as railroad bridge where Ronette Pulaski is found walking along the railroad tracks in a fugue state.

In Snoqualmie there you will find the building and fall, which is used as The Great Northern Hotel.

The next two pictures are the exterior of The Double R Dinner, where agent cooper had cherry pie and "D@mn fine cup o' coffee!".

Of course when you are there you have to take that pie and coffee (this one was not twice)

Here is the place they used as city border of Twin Peaks

After a long day of location scouting I gave Cinder and Tim as thanks a great mexican diner.

This was the last day in Tacoma and the stay at Cinder's house.

It was a great time, again thanks.
